Welcome to Rowing in Brunswick, Maine
Merrymeeting Community Rowing Association is doing business as a part of Portland Community Rowing Association,
a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, focused on providing recreational and competitive rowing for youths and adults in
the Brunswick, Maine area. Currently,
MCRA has a facility at the Water Street boat ramp in Brunswick. We have purchased two coxed fours and offer
rack space to singles. Rower parking has been arranged. The site offers about 3000m of excellent water alongside
the walking path, and good access to Merrymeeting Bay, the nicest place on earth. The MCRA's primary purpose is to further the sport of rowing in the greater Brunswick area. The scope of our
activities will extend from the training of people who have never rowed before to the training and development of competitive
rowers. The Association will offer programs for recreational and competitive rowing for adults of all ages and kids
